Under international human rights law, housing is recognized as a fundamental human right, yet many are denied this basic need. 'No Place Like' is a project exploring the intricate concept of "home" as both a tangible and abstract space, shaped by individual experiences and cultural backgrounds. Through interviews with people of various ages and origins, the notion of home is reimagined as something far beyond walls or addresses. It can be a person or an intangible feeling of belonging, while it could also be a memory stained by loss, displacement or the housing crisis. The videos explore how without a stable place to call home, individuals face deep instability and disconnection. The clay sculptures crafted during these interviews become a physical manifestation of these internal worlds, each piece carrying the weight of what home once was, is and what it could be.
